This rug was hand knotted in the Iran nearly 70 years ago, in the city of Mahal, and is also known as a Kashan Classic.  It is made of 100% wool.

These rugs are individually made using knotting methods, design color and fibre mix unique to their region. They have undergone washing. In some cases this results in some color bleeding, which only enhances there uniqueness. They may have been professionally repaired, or may have some pile wear, which we will point out in the listings for each individual rug. These are sold at a fraction of their cost and should not be dismissed as they have a very good resale value and some are or will become valuable antiques.  We list the current estimated retail value of each rug listed.
